Part of the charm of the Brandywine Valley, which meanders through Chester County, PA and New Castle County DE can be found when one visits the exquisite Longwood Gardens . After taking all those breathtaking flowers, gardens and fountains, continue down into Historic Kennett Square to find the renovated 1934 Brick Garage at the bottom of Miller's Hill just off State Street. Conveniently located near the intersection of State and Walnut Streets and between the YMCA and the Anson B Nixon Park .
Purchased in 2003 from the George's Plumbing business, it has become a delightful venue for antiques and other treasures. Originally built by the Young family as Young's Garage, it has been transformed while still maintaining the character and charm of the original beautiful brick building.
Inside, one will find a perfectly entrancing rabbit warren of rooms set up to enhance the rooms of antiques and enchanting estate finds currently provided by the main dealer, Pack Rats Place. There is also a very unique dazzling inside/outside room with a roaring fireplace when it's a tad chilly.
After spending time at the Brick Garage, continue into Kennett Square to have lunch or dinner at one of
the many fine eateries in the Borough. During the first Monday of each month there is an art stroll among the many art galleries .
Come by and visit time and again as most of our customers do.....
